Dancing angels outreach
Our fundraising team, The Dancing Angels, works tirelessly to raise scholarship funds through the Cathleen Forcucci Scholarship Fund to continue our focus on fostering inspiration through dance.
By nurturing the creative spirit of all children, the Cathleen Forcucci Scholarship Fund believes that dance education will inspire an appreciation of the arts, and encourage a lifelong pursuit of one’s passion.
The CFSF was created to honor the memory of Cathleen Forcucci, the founder of CF Dance Academy. By dedicating scholarship resources to those less fortunate in our community, we strive to empower children and ensure opportunities for positive self growth.
Your donations to the CFSF allow the legacy of our own Cathleen Forcucci to remain relevant in our community. We thank you for your support.
Annual outreach events
See below for description and pictures from the events that the Dancing Angels participate in each year.
Mardi Gras for Autism
The first Saturday in April brings the annual MARDI GRAS FOR AUTISM, hosted by Fullerton Cares. This family friendly event is targeted to children with special needs and their families, and features sensory-oriented attractions and a resource fair. Each year, the Dancing Angels host a booth at the carnival with free activities for children and their families. CF Dance also gives their students the opportunity to perform at the event, with the showcased performers from our EVERYBODY DANCE NOW class for dancers with special needs.
Each October, Fullerton businesses partner to host the annual Quinceanera to provide local girls with a special day to celebrate a milestone in the Latin culture. Dancing Angels provides funding for dance lessons for the 25 girls who participate in the event, and also donate scholarships to 1-2 of the girls every year who wish to continue their dance training. Dancing Angels and CF Dance also provide event planning and preparations.
