Under the direction of Jennifer Forcucci-Marzluf, students audition into this program every year and are accepted at the Junior and Senior levels. Fullerton Youth Ballet Company’s (FYB) primary goal is to train young dancers in preparation for professional concert dance careers and/or successful college entrance for a dance performance or education major. FYB's primary focus is classical ballet, neoclassical ballet and contemporary dance. FYB dancers train for principal roles in the Annual Nutcracker Ballet and Spring Showcase, as well as compete in 1-3 competitions a year. Dancers who are part of FYB also have the opportunity to be chosen to participate in our Competitive Soloist Program. 

 

In 2013 & 2017 they took 3rd Place in the Large Ensemble category at the Youth America Grand Prix. In 2017 & 2018 they participated in YAGP finals in New York City. In 2019 they received 2nd Place at YAGP San Diego Semi-Finals. At California Dance Classics 2019, FYB placed 1st and 2nd. FYB is a National Title holder for Kids Artistic Review. 

 

In the 2017-2018 season, Fullerton Youth Ballet Senior Company toured their neoclassical  piece “Ra” at YAGP regionals and nationals in New York City, New York. They also toured their piece, “Riverdale” at KAR Regionals and Nationals.

Bring the Noise is made up of dancers 11-17 years old and is the highest level hip-hop team at CF Dance Academy.  This award winning team is directed by Leanna Forcucci, Christopher “CJ” Jensen, Ryan Morris, Claudia Ion and Skylar VanDenburg.  Bring the Noise will participate in multiple conventions and competitions throughout the 2021-2022 season.

Pandemonium is CF’s all female hip-hop team made up of dancers 12-16 years old.  This team is directed by Leanna Forcucci, Christopher “CJ” Jensen, Ryan Morris, Claudia Ion and Skylar VanDenburg.  Pandemonium will participate in multiple conventions and competitions throughout the 2021-2022 season.

K is for kids, 10 is for 10 dancers, and watching these 10 dancers “in motion” can cause a K-mot10n!  This team, made up of dancers 9-13 years, is directed by Leanna Forcuci, Ryan Morris and Skylar VanDenburg.  K-mot10n will participate in multiple conventions and competitions throughout the 2021-2022 season.

Sound Off is made up of dancers 7-12 years old.  This team is directed by Leanna Forcucci, Kira Molenda, Jessica Anderson and Skylar VanDenburg.  Sound Off will participate in multiple conventions and competitions throughout the 2021-2022 season.

2021 marks the year for the premier of Ruckus!  This team is made up of dancers 6-9 years old and is directed by Leanna Forcucci, Jessica Anderson and Claudia Ion.  Ruckus will participate in multiple conventions and competitions throughout the 2021-2022 season.
